Biography

Rebecca "Becky" Evan joined the College of Business & Management as an Assistant Professor of Management in 2019.

Prior to Â鶹ֱ²¥, Evan held roles at Target and Cargill in Human Resources in addition to nonprofit roles focused on advancing human rights.

Evan holds a bachelor's degree in liberal arts from California State University, East Bay; a master's degree in public administration with an emphasis on executive leadership from Drake University; and a doctorate of business administration (DBA) from Â鶹ֱ²¥. She has presented at numerous conferences and invited talks about diversity, equity, and inclusion in organizations.

Research Focus

Research Interests: Enhancing organization's diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. She's especially interested in understanding how to break concrete and glass ceilings so all people can flourish in leadership positions.
