Purpose and Scope—Incorporate State statutes, Minnesota State and Â鶹ֱ²¥ policies, procedures, strategic objectives and operational plans in evaluating and recommending best practices to administer the parking program of the university at all locations. The committee also serves as the citation appeal committee. Names and contact information of committee members are kept confidential due to the sensitivity of appeal outcomes.
The parking/appeals committee is comprised of the following members:
- Campus Operations Director
- Security Director
- Parking Operations Coordinator
- 5 Collective Bargaining Unit representatives
- Student representative
Parking Committee meeting schedule:
- Fall semester and Spring semester: once per month (meetings my get cancelled due to availability of members)
- Summer semester (Summer session 1 and 2): No meetings held due to faculty being off contract
