Newly admitted College of Business and Management undergraduate students are assigned to work with a professional academic advisor before they declare their major. Professional academic advisors are full-time advisors in the College of Business and Management.
For dedicated support, and to ensure your specific needs are met, please schedule an appointment with your assigned academic advisor. We encourage you to plan early and connect with your assigned academic advisor. Early preparation and developing a relationship with your academic advisor are crucial components to successfully completing your degree. Your assigned advisor's name and contact information are located on the Degree Audit.
CBM Advisor on Duty
The Advisor on Duty (AOD) is a professional academic advisor available to assist students who do not yet have an assigned CBM advisor or if the assigned advisor is not available for an extended time.
The AOD can answer general registration questions and refer you to campus resources. There are some services for which you may be referred to make an appointment with your assigned academic advisor, such as degree planning, academic standing concerns, registration holds, and academic appeals.
The AOD is not meant to replace meeting with your academic advisor. Walk-in availability with the AOD is not guaranteed. Please call the CBM AOD number before stopping by the office to confirm someone is available.
